ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Follow the somehow lovable but abjectly evil Firefly family through an odyssey of torture and murder in gutter auteur Rob Zombie’s cult classic gore western The Devils’ Rejects - a sequel to House of 1000 Corpses that amps up the blood, pitch-black jokes, and melodrama to unexpectedly emotional extremes.
Zombie’s gonzo style and outsider sympathies somehow make twisted folk heroes out of the titular crew of murderers, a family barely keeping it together in a nightmare dimension. But it also never forgets the consequences of their violence - the film is a wake as a much as a freak out, a scream as much as a hang out. 20 years after its release, The Devil’s Rejects still disturbs and provokes and sets the cinema alight with the twang of “Free Bird”.

“Just the ugliest most depraved corral of characters to ever be in a mainstream film and one of the best trashy and emotional and PURE 70s soundtracks ever put on celluloid.” - Vera Drew, The People’s Joker
“I’m sure there are fans for this film, but for me it was my most depressing experience in a cinema for a long time. I am giving it 0 Stars.” - David Stratton
